This is the most tranquil art class I have been to over the years. I have had the right balance of guidance (i.e. no one standing over me). I feel that they give me the space that I need , because of this it helps me to listen when Harriet talks.

I have selected these for the following reasons.

The winter garden is in one colour and white I loved doing. Couldn't believe
how effective limiting the colours could be.
The Autumn scene is based on complimentary colours which was a new idea to
me and shows up colours which I wouldn't necessarily have used for this
picture.
The Lighthouse is my most recent in pastels.
The Pears was the first ever piece I did in pastels.
