I joined Harriet's art classes about a year ago. I had been wanting to take up painting for many years and an early retirement made this possible.

I have learnt so much about colour, form, style and construction and importantly , from my own perspective, not to rush at everything like an express train.

The warmth humour and talent of the other students, under the nurturing eye of Harriet, create an undercurrent of support and I know my own work is developing.    So far I have particularly enjoyed a project about Elizabeth Blackadder.
